Not really. I suppose I haven’t thought enough or may be I don’t know enough to make up a theory of my own. I do hope to understand this question though because the fact there was a big bang and all of grew from a point in space makes me wonder why many times!

You’re right, the big bang is just a theory, we don’t know exactly how it happened. I don’t know much about it (I’m a medical researcher, so it’s never really come up!).

I do really like The Big Bang Theory (the TV show) though, if that helps?!

I love the big bang theory, although i think if Sheldon really existed he would annoy me no end!

There are two theories that i really like, ones real, and one is kind of fictional

The real one, Big Bounce, is that the universe is constantly expanding and contracting and the force of one allows the other to happen at the equal but opposite direction-there would still have to be a beginning one though, and i don’t know how that would have happened!

The second is from ‘The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy’ an excellent book, with many scientific inaccuracies and omissions written by Douglas Adams “There is a theory which states that if ever for any reason anyone discovers what exactly the Universe is for and why it is here it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another that states that this has already happened.” if you subscribe to this theory-you shouldnt ask or the universe might end!

😀 what do you think happened?
