• Question: Do you think that Darwin's theory of Evolution is the closest to the truth we will get? or do you think that there could be similar theories that could be even closer?! :)

Well I’m a big fan of the theory of evolution, and I believe it’s correct, so I guess I don’t believe there’s room for any ‘similar theory’ that could be backed up with more evidence. I do think the theory of evolution will be expanded though. Biologists are continually finding more and more evidence to back it up. For example, when Darwin came up with the theory he didn’t know about HOW species evolve, but now we know that our traits are governed by our genes and genetic mutations are responsible for different traits emerging.

Same, the chances of tomorrow scientists saying the whole thing is hooey is really unlikely. The theory will continue develop though,as Gemma said with biologist looking at the heredity of other animals and genetic. I think for us it’s not a case of believing in evolution-there’s a lot of evidence behind it.
