• Question: Have you ever used human bodies for testing?

      I use cells and chunks of tissue taken from human bodies (well, just the womb!) in my experiments. The tissue is taken from live women who are either having an operation to remove their wombs (because they have some sort of disorder that’s causing them a lot of pain), or are having a Caesarian section birth. We never get women to have operations JUST for our research.

      No,in my degree though we did get to watch an autopsy.I don’t think that counts though,the person was dead and had donated their body to science research.
