• Question: if people are gay, does this attraction to people of the same sex come from hormones?

Well, that’s one theory, but it’s really complicated and probably a mixture of lots of different factors.

Humans are very complex, and hardly any of our behaviours are caused by hormones alone. We are free to choose how we want to live our lives, and different people like different things. That diversity is what makes human society such an interesting thing to be a part of 🙂

Like Gemma said there could be hormones, environmental, genetic factors but at the end of the day there are always differences between people and the way they make choices, I would hate to think that being gay is a result of hormones-because it makes it sound like a condition or disease, which isn’t right at all! Just slightly different way of seeing the world!
