• Question: if some guy with really long fingernails was stalking you and he kept telling you that if you told anybody, he'd kill as many random people as possible before they arrested him, what would you do?

      I’d probably try to gauge how likely he was to actually follow through on his threats. If I thought he was probably just a (relatively) harmless guy with long fingernails, I’d tell the police, but if I thought there was a chance he genuinely would kill people I’d probably just have to put up with him stalking me and hope that one day someone else would notice and say something like “that guy with the really long fingernails is here again, I think he’s stalking you. You don’t seem to care, but I’ve called the police anyway”.

      What I like about these questions dobby, is that you haven’t just Googled general science questions to ask. You’ve clearly come up with them yourself. Alright… they’re rarely anything to do with science, but they’re fun to answer.

      haha, brilliant! I would love to say I’d pull out some kung fu or something but depends on how much of a threat he is or how good he is at stalking… so if he was really sneaky and you didn’t notice! maybe you could try sneakily getting a message (so he wouldn’t know you’d told anyone?) 😀

      bit confused as to what the fingernails have to do with anything… really long fingernails can be very creepy. I met a woman once whose nails where so long they curled around, very odd!
