Sulfur is present in some amino acids, which make up proteins, so in some ways sulfur can be helpful! sulfur has been used as a herbal remedy, i think its supposed to be antibacterial..

Sulfonamide (a chemical that contains sulfur) is used in loads of drugs for different medical conditions. It’s often found in antibiotic drugs that treat things like tonsilitis because it can kill bacteria.

Agree with the use of sulfur in medicines. Was there a reason why you wanted to know this?
