I have (and will continue to) performed a number of different experiments, such as making high-speed video recordings of the frogs whilst they walk/climb, comparing the ‘sticking ability’ of tree and torrent frogs, and building a force plate to measure the forces involved in their locomotion. These experiments are all non-invasive, so the frogs should not be harmed or agitated in any way; however, any experiment is likely to cause some degree of stress, but once I become aware of this I put the frog back in its tank.
