• Question: What science do you need to be good at to do forensic science?

      Chemistry is important (some forensic science degrees are effectively a joint degree, i.e. ‘Chemistry with forensic science’), and biology too.

      Yeah as Diana says, chemistry and biology are important.

      Chemistry, because forensic scientists analyse traces of substances left at crime scenes, like flakes of paint or drugs.
      Biology, because forensic scientists also analyse body fluid samples and hair etc found at crime scenes.

      Same,chemistry and biology.I think a strong constitution is important too,it’s not for the squeamish! Forensics can be disgusting, interesting but disgusting!
