• Question: whats on the other side of the red shift?

      I think you are asking what is on the other side of the end of the universe? No one knows is the answer. Our best guess is that it is empty and the expanding universe is filling up this space in some way.

      The red shift is when light has a stretched wavelength when its further away? I thought it was a physics concept, like the doppler effect but instead of noise its light? I dont think I get the question, Sorry!!

      I think the red shift is something to do with the wavelength of light shifting towards the red end of the spectrum as the source of the light moves further away… It’s quite a complex physics concept though! Not anything this medical researcher has ever encountered!

      To hazard I guess I’d say either side of the red end of the spectrum is orange and infrared!
