I really like the story of Gregory Mendel.he was a monk who first discovered that qualities of parents were passed onto offspring-so started research into genes and genetics. I find his work and story inspiring because it was all done by observations on pea plants, but his humble work lead to a major discovery and a whole new field of science!

I also really like Brian cox, I’m my particularly into astronomy but I like how he can explain really complicated science theories so anyone can understand-I think it’s great that he gets people interested in science 🙂

Charles Darwin is up there with the best of them. He came up with a really complex theory (evolution and natural selection) and had to put up with a lot of people dismissing his ideas and ridiculing him. His theory fundamentally changed our understanding of biology, and had a massive impact on biological research.

Plus he had a good beard.
