• Question: why do we have clouds

      Water evaporates from the surface of the earth and it rises, when it reaches a cooler environment(in the sky)the water droplets condense to make the cloud (think of hot breath going steamy in a cold winter-same principal) they remain suspended in the atmosphere until they build up enough to form droplets which fall as rain.

      Hi Liam 🙂 Good question. Judith’s pretty much covered it. I sometimes wish we didn’t have clouds though, because if we didn’t have clouds we wouldn’t have rain (I’m bitter because I got really wet walking home from a conference today!)

      Having lived in grey Britian for a few years now, I can see why Gemma hates the clouds. But from where I come in India, I actually enjoyed watching clouds go by. They come in such different shapes and sizes. They float at different speeds. And they make beautiful portraits for those whole photography, like me! 🙂
