We actually have 12 frogs now – we bought 5 juvenile frogs a few weeks ago 🙂 . Having several frogs means that I can repeat my experiments using different individuals so that a. I can show that the results are reliable (since all of the frogs produce similar results) and b. they can each be tested in turn, and so won’t get tired or too stressed through repeated experiments.
